It depends on where you are. We aim to fulfil all our orders within 1-2 working days. Regular (local) shipping would take 1-2 days. International orders may take little longer. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email. When your order is shipped, you will receive an email with tracking number.
It depends on what the shipping address is. Orders are processed on weekdays during business hours. National shipments (NL) usually take 1 day, international shipments take approximately 2-3 days.
Inside the EU we use local courier partners. Outside EU we use DHL Express to send our packages.

For all our products you have a 30 days right to return for a full refund or exchange for another product. In all cases products need to be in new-conditions, unworn, in the original package.

Every correspondence with Fromanteel concerning repairs or returns occurs via email through firstname.lastname@example.org
The return must be made within 30 days after the receipt of the received product. Make sure the return form is filled in completely (!) and properly Exchange / return of an item (s) may only occur once per order.
Fromanteel will credit/ pay or refund the outstanding amount within 10 business days after full completion of the return form and receiving the product.
If you want to return a product to us, shipping expenses are at own costs.
The shipper will always be responsible for the package until it arrives at its destination.
Products purchased directly from our website must be returned to Fromanteel directly for a return and full refund to be made; product(s) cannot be returned in a local retail store.

The average repair time is 2 – 3 weeks after our watchmakers received your watch.
Upon receiving your watch, our watchmakers will fully inspect your timepiece. You will receive a quotation with repair cost. As soon as you agree to this quotation, our watchmakers will start the repair.
If you don’t want to continue the repair after receiving the quotation, you will receive back your watch unrepaired. Some costs for shipping and investigation of the watch may apply.
Dust and dirt tend to collect in gaps in the back of the case or band, so clean the watch occasionally. For the case: use a toothbrush with soapy water and a soft cloth for drying.
Avoid contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes, cosmetic products, since they may damage the bracelet, the case or the gaskets.
Avoid speakers or refrigerators, since these have strong magnetic fields.
Avoid shocks whether thermal or other. Avoid temperatures above 60°C (140°F), below 0°C (32°F) or extreme temperature changes. For the Chronograph: do not operate the pushers under water in order to prevent water entering the mechanism.
Store your watch in a dry place when not using it.
Feel free to stop by at our store in Amsterdam or send your watch to our watchmakers.
Battery replacements can also be done at a regular jewel- and watches store. However in this case warranty on the watch may be affected if the battery replacement is not done properly.
When your watch has low battery there is an ‘End of Life’ indication: the second hand jumps every approximately 4 seconds.
All our watches have a warranty of 2 years. The warranty only applies to manufacturing defects.
Our straps are subject to wear and tear. Please contact us if you have any problems or specific questions about the warranty on your strap.
No. All our repairs are done by our watchmakers located outside of Amsterdam.
Yes. You can also bring your watch to our store and we’ll make sure it gets sent carefully to our watchmakers.
Yes. However, this won’t be covered by our warranty.

If in reality this means usage in shallow water, it will not be a problem.
It is no problem if your watch gets wet from rain or you accidentally fall into the water.
Our dive watches are the exception to this rule. These watches are specially designed to withstand high pressures found in deep water.
However, we do not advise to expose your watch to water.
Salt (sea), chlorine (swimming pool), soap (shower), etc. can affect the rubbers protecting the watch from water coming inside the case.
Also, most all our straps are made of leather. A leather strap would be quickly worn off if it is exposed to soap.
Yes. You can customize your watch by:
- adding an strap that fits your style or;
- by adding an fold clasp (buckle) to your watch or;
- by engraving your watch with a personal message.
All options are outlined on the product page, so look out for customization options there.

Also you can buy extra straps which you can exchange yourself at home to give your watch a different look.
All of our currently available watches come with an anti-reflective and scratchproof sapphire glass.
Yes. Calendar functions on both type of watches must not be altered between 11.30PM (23:30h) to 5.30AM (05:30h) because automatic changes are in progres at these times.
Pressing the correctors during these times might cause movement damage.

Sometimes it happens that the chronograph doesn’t start or stop at zero.
The most common reason is that the center crown of the watch was pulled-out during normal use by your jacket’s sleeve or a little invisible ‘watch-gnome’ got to play with your watch when you didn’t look.
Anyways, there’s a very easy way to solve this problem, follow these steps:
1. Pull-out the center crown in its third position (all out).
2. Keep both push buttons pressed in simultaneously till the hand turns 360 degrees. The corrective mode is now activated.
3. Press the top pusher till the hand is in its correct position.
When you push the lower pusher, the corrective mode now moves to the hour counter hand.
4. Pushing the lower pusher again, the corrective mode will move to the minute counter hand.
When you are finished, just push the center crown to its original position. You’re ready to go!

We use different kind of movements from different Swiss Made suppliers.
Our quartz watches are provided with Swiss Made Ronda movements.
Our automatic watches both use Swiss Made ETA and Sellita movements.
Depending on your watch model and the intensity of use of the functions of the movement, a battery should run for at least 1 year and at best 5 years.
Battery replacement can be done at our store in Amsterdam or at our external watchmakers. Also this can be done at a regular jewel- and watches stores.
If you’ve bought The Fold Buckle with a watch or strap we’ll make sure it is attached to your strap when your watch or strap is packed.
If you’ve ordered a separate Fold Buckle you can attach it by following these steps:
1. Using a small utensil like a paperclip, needle or tweezers you can push the springbar via the hole in the side of the buckle. The buckle should come right off.
2. Using your utensil you can push out the springbar and remove the prong of the original buckle. After you’ve removed this, you can place the springbar back in.
3. Now open up your Fold Buckle and make sure the hollow side is pointing the same way as the inside of your strap. Now place one half of the springbar, which is in the strap in the hole of The Fold Buckle.
4. Using your utensil again, you can push the other side of your springbar and make sure it is in the buckle on both sides.
No. It is not possible to use a discount code on a items that are already discounted.
For example, if a watch or a strap is discounted because it is a pre-order then you cannot apply a discount of any type.
